Download Now List of Recipients of PKH and BPNT Social Assistance This Month

.CO-Amid his busy schedule in the national social assistance distribution agenda, Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf, who is better known as Gus Ipul, issued a strict warning to all recipients of regular quarterly social assistance (bansos) for the fourth quarter of 2025.
In a meeting at the KP2MI Office, South Jakarta, Monday (11/3/2025), Gus Ipul emphasized that government assistance must not
used to pay debts, gamble (including online gambling), or buy cigarettes.
What is not allowed is to pay off debt, that's clearly not allowed. For paying the house installment, that's also not allowed, or any other installment.
"For online gambling, it's clearly not allowed, or gambling in general, even for buying cigarettes, that's not allowed either," said Gus Ipul.
This emphasis emerged following the government's plan to gradually distribute regular social assistance (bansos) from October to December 2025.
to 14 million recipient families (KPM) throughout Indonesia as part of the social protection program that continues to be strengthened as the end of the year approaches.
According to Gus Ipul, the social assistance funds are indeed intended for basic needs: children's school needs, nutrition for pregnant women, infants, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
"Indeed, what is allowed is according to its purpose, for school children's needs, for pregnant women's nutrition, for infants, yes, for the elderly, and for people with disabilities," he said.
In his explanation, Gus Ipul emphasized that the social assistance program implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemensos) is inclusive and just.
All parties who meet the criteria, including those in decile 1 to decile 4 in the National Socio-Economic Integrated Data (DTSEN), have the opportunity to receive this assistance.
"We ensure that the social assistance is inclusive. Therefore, it is given to anyone who meets the criteria, especially those in decile 1 to 4 in DTSEN," explained Gus Ipul.
In addition, he mentioned that the families of migrant workers left behind in the homeland can also benefit from social assistance programs as long as they meet the established requirements.
"Yes, of course they can, if for example the parents are left behind, the elderly, or disabled people, they meet the criteria to receive social assistance," he said.
Based on data from the Ministry of Social Affairs, the regular social assistance program for the fourth quarter of 2025 targets approximately 14 million recipient families (KPM) throughout Indonesia.
This is part of the government's efforts to maintain public purchasing power ahead of the end of the year and during the economic period faced by many vulnerable families.
The program includes two main components:
Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH)
Non-cash Food Assistance (BPNT), also commonly known as food aid.
In total, it is stated that these two programs target more than 18.2 million KPM across Indonesia.
The details are as follows: pure PKH recipients are more than 390 thousand KPM, pure food commodities recipients are approximately 8.6 million KPM, and dual recipients who receive both PKH and food commodities are approximately 9.6 million KPM.
Thus, the inter-program relations target shows that the government is trying to reach not only families with one type of assistance, but also those in the double recipient category to strengthen the social safety net.
This fourth-quarter distribution, starting in October to December 2025, is also seen as a signal that the government is strengthening social protection programs ahead of the end-of-year period, when community needs usually increase due to factors such as education, health, and household consumption.
For the community who want to check their status as recipients of social assistance for the period of November 2025, here are the official steps provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs:
Visit the official website: cekbansos.kemensos.go.id
Select region: province → regency → district → village/neighborhood according to the KTP address.
Enter the name according to the KTP and type the verification code shown.
Click "Search Data" to check if you are registered as a recipient of social assistance.
There are several conditions that must be met to become a recipient:
Legitimate Indonesian Citizens (WNI)
Having a valid ID card.
Belong to the category of poor families or those in great need of social assistance (registered in DTKS).
For those experiencing online issues, the public can directly visit the local village or district office to confirm whether their name is registered in the system.
In addition to the website, the public can also use the application available on Play Store or App Store to check their status by entering their respective NIK.
There are several questions frequently raised by the community regarding the regular social assistance (bansos) for the fourth quarter of 2025, among others:
The community can register themselves or through the RT/RW or the local village/neighborhood. Then, a consultation and verification will be carried out to determine the eligibility of the assistance.
Or through the Cekbansos application by creating an account, then proposing oneself or a neighbor, and objecting to recipients deemed ineligible.
Self-registration is carried out by filling in the required data, then verified by the Ministry of Social Affairs system and local areas.
Once the data has been approved, it will enter the program according to the relevant type of social assistance.
The warning delivered by Gus Ipul is not without reason. There are several strategic points that underlie the government's stance:
First, the social assistance funds are part of the social protection program, not credit or loans, so their use is expected to be only for essential and productive needs.
Second, when assistance is used to pay off debts, gamble, or buy cigarettes, the real function of social assistance as a social safety net becomes eroded, and its social and economic impacts are reduced.
Third, proper use will enhance the effectiveness of the program, strengthen the welfare of the recipient families and vulnerable communities, and minimize the potential for misuse or leakage of funds.
Fourth, inclusive policies targeting deciles 1-4 as well as families left behind by migrant workers - showing that the government
Wanting to ensure that the assistance reaches those who truly need it, and reminding that assistance should be prioritized for basic and productive needs, not non-essential consumption.
Thus, the message conveyed by Gus Ipul is a form of public responsibility to ensure that the allocation of national social assistance funds runs according to its purpose and has maximum impact on vulnerable communities.
As a guide for KPM or families who will receive regular quarterly assistance in the fourth quarter of 2025, here are some practical suggestions:
Make sure you use the social assistance funds for: children's school needs, pregnant women and infants' nutrition, elderly needs, disabled people's needs, and urgent household food needs.
Avoid using the social assistance funds to pay for house installments or debts, as the government explicitly prohibits this.
Avoid using social assistance funds for gambling or betting, including online gambling, as warned by the Minister of Social Affairs.
Avoid buying cigarettes or other non-essential consumer goods that are not a priority for basic needs.
Save proof of usage or small records so that if needed, you can show that the funds were used appropriately.
Always check your social assistance status through the official website or application, so you know when the distribution is carried out and to avoid parties who take advantage of the situation for fraud.
Update your family data (NIK, address, economic condition) at the village/neighborhood office so that you remain in the valid data category in DTKS.
Understanding the guidelines correctly will help the recipient families not only to receive assistance but also to utilize it to the maximum extent possible for long-term welfare improvement.
In order to maintain the sustainability of the social protection program, the implementation of supervision and education on the use of social assistance is very important.
Through the statement of Social Minister Gus Ipul, the government once again emphasized that the social assistance funds are the right of the people in need, not funds for non-productive consumption.
With a target of approximately 14 million beneficiary families and a total coverage of more than 18 million KPM through the PKH and BPNT programs, it is hoped that this fourth-quarter 2025 program will be able to increase the purchasing power of vulnerable communities, help meet basic needs, and strengthen social welfare.
To all recipients, the main message is to utilize the assistance wisely, appropriately and in accordance with the regulations.
Compliance with the use will strengthen the system, enhance public trust, and ensure that the major goals of social protection, namely inclusion and justice, are truly realized.
To ensure that you are a recipient or understand your rights and obligations as a KPM, immediately check through the official website, application, or visit the local village office.
Thus, all parties can ensure that the aid reaches the right hands and is used optimally.(dka/jpg)
