Family and friends of prominent Nigerian Pastor David Azzaman are now grieving after he passed away unexpectedly in a traffic collision.

It is reported that the Reverend passed away on Saturday, May 24, during a journey from Benue, located approximately 330 kilometers south of the capital city, Abuja. His destination was his residence in Kaduna.
The Blueprint reveals that Azzaman, a high-ranking pastor at the Kings Worship Chapel and Ministry, was en route back after attending a crusade event.
According to a statement released by the church, the driver of Azzaman's automobile was attempting to avoid potholes when another vehicle coming towards them crashed into the front part of the car where the pastor was sitting.
The church similarly dismissed allegations of misconduct in the incident, stating that the clergyman sustained critical injuries, resulting in his eventual demise.
The report indicated that the crash had a serious effect on the passenger-side seating area, which was where the Reverend was sitting.
David Azzaman's post
This follows when internet users uncovered the pastor's Facebook post from January 2025, where he described a chilling prediction regarding his demise in a vehicular accident.
In his posting, he mentioned:
The pastor who contacted me mentioned that he witnessed an accident during one of my mission trips. He advised me to pray against the influence of accidental deaths.
He went on to pray against the prophecy in the Facebook post, stating that with God's grace, he would not meet the predicted fate.
“I will never succumb to an accidental fate. As stated in Psalm 91:16, God promises He has granted me longevity. Therefore, if someone attempts to orchestrate an accident within the spiritual domain, I shall not perish until I have sufficiently preached Christ and experienced fulfillment through prolonged life. Since Jesus is God, I am determined not to depart this world before completing my mission as a missionary,” he expressed in his extensive prayerful message posted online.
