Regarding the diplomatic agenda, the Prime Minister highlighted that Ethiopia has transitioned from being an recipient of the agenda to becoming a setter of priorities on crucial matters.
Ethiopia effectively articulates its objectives to global organizations, he stated, emphasizing that there’s no cause for hesitation when voicing these interests.
The country's diplomatic efforts recognize allies, bolster strategic partnerships not just with words but through accords; consequently, this yields true strategic collaborators.
The Prime Minister highlighted that Ethiopia has emerged as a crucial player in international mediation efforts. Additionally, the country’s membership in BRICS was attributed to its capability to underscore its significance on the global stage.
Since we've gained true friends across all continents, these allies are backing us through sharing intelligence, providing training, and supplying arms, he explained.
Over the last seven years, we've attained a significantly improved and sophisticated diplomatic approach, which has allowed us to consistently safeguard our national interests, he asserted.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of decreasing debt and reliance, along with boosting the country’s exports to maintain strong ties with allies and collaborators.
