2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup Results - Indonesia National Team Not as Bad as England, Korean Pair Destroys American Representative

Indonesia U-17 National Team started the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup with a defeat, but not as severe as the favorite contestant, England.

The Group E-H matches of the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup have been completed on Tuesday (11/4/2025).

Several interesting results enlivened the eight teams presented one after another at the Aspire Zone, Al Rayyan, Qatar.

Tuesday's agenda started with a massacre moment by the Brazilian giant against Honduras in the opening match of Group H.

Canarinha opened the tournament in Qatar with a burst after scoring seven goals without reply against their opponent's goal.

The four-time FIFA U-17 World Cup champion was leading 4-0 at halftime through goals from Ruan Pablo, Wendeson Dell (2), and Felipe Morais.

After the break, the young players of Samba State added three more goals through the actions of Vitor Hugo, Angelo Candido, and Gabriel Mec.

A score of 7-0 is the biggest victory so far in Qatar 2025, surpassing Tunisia vs Fiji (6-0) in Group D the day before.

That huge margin automatically launched Brazil to the top of Group H.

Their position is followed by Zambia, who made a comeback victory over the Indonesia U-17 national team.

Nova Arianto's protégé initially took the lead through a goal by Zahaby Gholy, who broke Zambia's net after intercepting a pass from Evandra Florasta that was saved by the goalkeeper.

However, Zambia bounced back by scoring three goals within six minutes.

Score 1-3 for the young Garuda's defeat closed their first performance in Group H.

Indonesia's U-17 national team's defeat was nothing compared to the fate experienced by the European favorite, England.

He was the champion of the 2017 edition together with Phil Foden's generation, but opened Group E with a tragic result.

Arsenal goalkeeper's goal, Jack Porter, was scored on three times without reply by Venezuela.

The opposite result was recorded by the British group rival, Egypt, who topped the standings after defeating Haiti 4-1.

Meanwhile, the neighboring Asian countries, South Korea and North Korea, had a positive start.

This Korean Peninsula combo secured full points in their respective groups against the American continent's representatives.

Surprisingly, South Korea silenced the 2005 and 2011 world champion team, Mexico, with a score of 2-1 in Group F.

North Korea's victory was more decisive, defeating El Salvador 5-0 in the opening match of Group G.

The team of North Korea did not have the same success as the defending champion, Germany, in the same group.

The two-year tournament champion in Indonesia 2023 failed to maintain the fast goal momentum of Toni Langsteiner in the first minute.

Germany conceded a goal from Colombian player Juan Catano in the second half, resulting in a 1-1 draw that remained until the end.
