Protests and Gatherings Restricted Near Secretariat: DMP's International Directive
Dhaka, May 27 - As stated in the public notification released by the DMP Commissioner on May 10, various activities such as protests, assemblies, parades, and marches continue to be banned within and near the Bangladesh Secretariat, the official residence of the Chief Adviser located at Jamuna, along with surrounding regions.
The measure has been implemented to ensure law and order, according to a DMP press statement released on Monday evening.
DMP shows zero tolerance towards mob violence.
The authorities have requested everyone involved to closely follow the guidelines, as stated in the press release.
