In her wedding photos and videos, Moitra can be seen draped in a delicate pink Banarasi silk saree adorned with elaborate golden zari embroidery. Complementing this attire were classic gold accessories such as a choker necklace, jhumki earrings, and a maang tikka. The finishing touches included soft makeup and an elegant middle-parted hairstyle.

Misra has on a pale peach-colored Nehru jacket paired with a classic kurta.

Mahua Moitra, who was born on October 12, 1974, in Assam, shifted her focus from a thriving career in investment banking to politics. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College located in Massachusetts, USA, graduating with honors as Magna Cum Laude.

In 2010, Moitra became part of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. She entered politics by contesting elections in 2019 and emerged victorious from the Karimpur assembly constituency in West Bengal. Renowned for delivering passionate speeches in Parliament, Moitra secured two terms as an MP representing West Bengal’s Krishnanagar seat. However, during her initial tenure, she faced disqualification due to "cash-for-question" accusations.

As a leading member of TMC in Parliament, she is celebrated for her fervent orations and sharp rebuttals, frequently directed at the BJP-led administration. Her eloquent criticisms have earned widespread recognition, solidifying her status as a powerful figure in Indian political discourse.

Born on October 23, 1959, in Puri, Odisha, Pinaki Misra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History from St. Stephen’s College and later earned an LLB from the University of Delhi’s Faculty of Law. He subsequently became part of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), led by Naveen Patnaik, and has been successfully re-elected several times — in 2009, 2014, and 2019.

During his time in office, Misra has been an important member of several parliamentary committees such as the Standing Committee on Finance, the Business Advisory Committee, and panels dealing with defense, civil aviation, and law and justice.
